It was 14-14 and the half, so to say the Bayfield Wolverines and Brush Beetdiggers were an even match was a good call.
After a short possession by the Beetdiggers, Taed Heydinger leaped up for an interception to start the third quarter.
Zane Phelps ran it for a first down.
Then came a Bayfield fumble, but Hunter Killough fell on it for a Wolverine recovery. With a third down and 11, McCoy passed it to Killough, but it was tipped and almost intercepted.
In what looked to be their first attempt at a field goal this season, the Wolverines pulled a switch and attempted a fleaflicker that was passed to Cash Snooks, but officials ruled it was incomplete.
The calls certaintly don't seem to be going in our favor today.
With 39 seconds left in the third, Phelps ran it to the 35 yardline. It's still 14-14.
