American Home Furniture and Mattress will donate a portion of its sales through Dec. 17 to local food banks in Durango, Farmington, Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
“We are thankful to have the opportunity to contribute to our community. Your purchases will help local food banks in New Mexico and Southern Colorado,” said Ted Leveque, American Home Furniture and Mattress president. “We’re close to providing a million meals. Help us achieve that goal this year.”
Donations will support Durango Food Bank, Echo Food Bank in Farmington, Roadrunner Food Bank in Albuquerque and the Food Depot in Santa Fe.
The donation effort marks the fifth time American Home Furniture and Mattress has raised money for food banks. Nearly 860,000 meals have been supplied from fundraising over the years.
