LPEA employee joins Milsoft advisory board

Fuqua

La Plata Electric Association recently announced that engineering IT specialist Brad Fuqua was elected to serve a two-year term on the Milsoft Utility Solutions Advisory Board.

As a board member, Fuqua will help improve Outage Management System software used by rural electric cooperatives across the country. He worked with Milsoft for 11 years before being hired at LPEA in 2014, and gives presentations at annual conferences.

The OMS program at LPEA was developed by Milsoft, an engineering, operations and communications software developer based in Abilene, Texas, and has allowed the cooperative to enhance outage communications internally and externally.
