Purgatory Resort and Hesperus Ski Area will extend their ski seasons.
Purgatory will extend its daily operating schedule through April 7 and will be open Saturdays and Sundays thereafter. A closing date has not been announced.
Instead of closing for the season Sunday, Hesperus will continue operations Fridays from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning March 22. Hesperus will close for the season March 31.
