St. Columba School is going solar with a solar farm installation on the roof of the elementary building and is seeking solar panel sponsors.
The project is based on Christian stewardship of the natural environment and the future preservation of health, community and resources. It is also a financial investment in the school’s infrastructure, resulting in energy savings and will pay for itself over time.
By offering an experiential curriculum to St. Columba students around our solar initiative, the school is modeling good stewardship while teaching science, consumer math and ecology.
