I must begin this by admitting that Dean Brookie is a friend.
This is meaningful because it allows me to say that I am privy to personal conversations and personal opinions from Dean. In short, that is why I support Dean for his second term on city council.
Dean is exactly who you see on stage, at council meetings, the Art Center or in his living room behind a drum set. He is honest, committed, transparent and most of all, is tireless in his passion about the direction of our city and county.
He is very clear on where the problems exist and is determined to develop solutions with the guidance of a keen pair of ears. There is no money in local politics, just passion, and Dean eats, breathes and drinks the wellness of Durango.
