Charter Communications and Apeiron Utility Construction will perform fiber optic line improvements starting Tuesday, from the General Palmer Hotel, 567 Main Ave., to McDonald’s, 201 W. College Drive.
Work will continue from 1 to 5 a.m. Wednesday. Sections of the eastbound lane of west College Drive will be closed and traffic will be diverted to a temporary middle lane. Also, sections of the sidewalk on the south side of west College Drive will be closed and pedestrians will be diverted to the north-side sidewalk.
Crews may still be cleaning up the site after 5 a.m. Wednesday.
