Police say no foul play is suspected
A 49-year-old man was found dead Friday afternoon in an apartment on the 500 block of East Second Avenue.
La Plata County coroner Jann Smith identified the man as Daniel McCullough. She said an autopsy is scheduled for next week to determine the cause of death.
Sgt. Nick Stasi with the Durango Police Department said officers responded to reports of an unattended death at the residence about 1:30 p.m. Friday.
He said no foul play is suspected in McCullough’s death.
