And band members Charlie Milo on bass and vocal, Jason Davis on drums and Jake Oakey on guitar and vocals are going to make it their personal mission to send you on a musical adventure. Red Eyed Djinn’s gonna get your goat
Local band Red Eyed Djinn is playing Friday night at the Billy Goat Saloon, 39848 U.S. Highway 160 in Bayfield.
The band is eclectic – blending country, rock, funk and soul into a psychedelic smoothie that packs a punch!
Members are Matt Rupnow on guitar and vocals; Howard Basley on percussion; Matt Knight on drums; Art Cahill on bass; Shaman Houpt on guitar and vocals; and Travis Reynolds on harmonica and sound engineering.
The band will be playing at the Goat until midnight.

DRAGrango is Durango Pride’s first drag competition
This weekend, Durango Pride is hosting its first ever DRAGrango drag competition, where Mr. and Ms. Durango Pride will be crowned. The evening is being hosted by Durango’s first-out drag queen Alice Glamoure, aka Fort Lewis College alumni Ammon Swofford.
Audience members are encouraged to dress in drag.
All proceeds from the evening are going to support Durango Pride festival’s mission of helping educate the community about diversity and equality for LGBTQ residents.
Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 at the Henry Strater Theatre, 699 Main Ave.
