Fort Lewis College will host a student ballot issues video presentation from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Noble Hall Room 130.
The presentation of student-produced, non-partisan state ballot issue videos is a “town-gown” civic engagement effort to educate voters and potential voters on two statewide ballot issues: Proposition CC (TABOR-related) and DD (sports betting). An audience Q&A will follow the presentation.
The events is sponsored by League of Women Voters of La Plata County and the Fort Lewis College political science department. Election day is Nov. 5. Ballots will be mailed starting Oct. 11.
