Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College will host a free film screening of “Silverton Gold” at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom.
“Silverton Gold” explores the transition from mining town to tourism/recreation based economy and the tension between development and preservation, while telling the story of the fortitude, toughness and perseverance of the people of Silverton.
