For those women who did not care to have their age revealed, they could simply say over 21 to the individual at the Durango ration board, who probably knew her real age!

Latest OPA Freeze Order Halts Sale of Canned Fish, Meat for 6 Weeks
The Office of Price Administration has taken another load off the family can opener by freezing the sale of canned fish and meats for six weeks. The can opener is due for virtually a complete rest next week.
Three servicemen released recently from active duty in the Pacific are home for brief visits with their families and friends for the first time in 18 months. During their three weeks on leave at home, they plan to devote to full enjoyment of favored pastimes and friends, to go back to their base well fortified with memories which will tide them through the days to come.

Price rate fixing soon will extend to still another item in the family larder — fresh vegetables.
This will leave fresh fish as the only important food free of price controls.

Boy and Girl Scouts Will Assist the American Red Cross Saturday
Scouts under the direction of Mickey Hogan will remind all home households and business houses that it is time to pull off all last year’s emblems and clean the slate for the biggest Red Cross fund drive in history.
There will be a Washington’s birthday dance at the Long Lane school Saturday night February 20 sponsored by the Eureka Grange. Everyone is invited for old time and modern dances. It promises to be a good time for all.
