3rd annual Empty Bowls fundraiser is next Thursday

Students in third, fourth and fifth grades are crafting bowls for the event.
Combining art, good food and a worthy cause, Ignacio Elementary School will host its third annual Empty Bowls fundraiser Thursday, April 21.
Students in third through fifth grades have been making clay bowls for the event, which cost $10. That includes entry to the event, a soup tasting, and silent auction. For families, four bowls cost $35.
Tickets are available for purchase at the school or at the door the day of the event. Silent auction donations also are being accepted. Proceeds will be donated to local food charities. For more information, call the school at 563-0650.
