The Rail Rangers program is looking for volunteers to ride the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge train this summer to Silverton and speak to visitors about the Weminuche Wilderness. It is also an opportunity to pass along information about Leave No Trace.
Volunteers have been riding the train for more than 20 years, helping visitors understand the area’s public lands.
Training, uniforms and name tags are provided.
