Board members elected to SUCAP

Southern Ute Community Action Programs held elections on Tuesday, June 2.

The following community members were elected to serve a two-year term on the SUCAP board of directors, Karla Baird, James Brown, Jeremy Cuthair, Gina Schulz, Cathy Seibel, and Kathleen Sitton.

SUCAP is a multi-program human services organization providing assistance through six Program Divisions: Southern Ute Head Start and Early Head Start, Peaceful Spirit Substance Abuse Treatment, The Training Advantage, Ignacio Senior Center, SUCAP Youth Services and Road Runner Transportation.

As a Community Action Program, SUCAP is required to hold a public election to seat a third of its governing body. This election is held every odd year on the first Tuesday of June.
