Durango Adult Education Center Director Susan Hakanson will speak at a virtual meeting of the Rotary Club of Durango at 6 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom.
The talk will include current information about the center, serving students’ needs during COVID-19 and challenges as it moves into its 34th year of serving the region. The center’s services include obtaining a general equivalency degree, teaching English as a second language and community education classes.
Hakanson joined the center about one year ago and brings many years of experience in education and in nonprofit leadership.
Virtual visitors using Zoom are welcome.
