Cooper A. Stowers, an Animas High School graduate and son of Bridget and Michael Stowers of Durango, was named to the provost’s list at Chapman University in Orange, Calif., for the 2016 fall semester.
The provost list at Chapman includes students who enroll in 12 or more credit hours and finish the semester with a 3.6 GPA or higher.
Stowers is currently enrolled in the university’s college of film and media arts.
