Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center and the Colorado Department of Transportation will offer two free workshops to educate sub-contractors on the proposal and certification processes for doing business with CDOT from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday at the Southern Ute Multi-Purpose Building, 258 Ute Road, Ignacio, and from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, Exhibitor Hall.
A major design-build project will start soon and sub-contractors from minority, woman-owned and Native American businesses are eligible for these contracts. Learn how CDOT buys goods and services and how to certify a business to participate.
