Adult volunteers are still needed to oversee fourth and fifth graders from Ignacio during the tree-planting event that will now be held on May 1 in the Vallecito area after being postponed due to rain and snow.
San Juan Mountains Association, in partnership with San Juan National Forest, will help children plant ponderosa pine trees during the day.
