10th Annual Mancos Melt will feature art, music and fun for all ages

The 10th Annual Mancos Melt will be held Thursday through March 16, and will feature three days of art, music, wine, costumes, parties, bed races, putt putt golf tournament, kid and critter parade, kite festival, family fun run/walk and chili tasting hosted by Mancos businesses.

The event will kick off with a wine tasting and costume party, featuring the art of TJ Zark, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Olio Wine and Food in downtown Mancos. Tickets are $25 per person. The “81328 A Retrospective Gathering” photography exhibition reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Outlier Cellars highlights. The exhibition will feature selected photos from years of 81318 submissions.

Live music will be provided by local band, Flashback, from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday at Millwood Junction Restaurant.

Mancos Melt’s climax will be the bonfire and burning of your winter blues with this year’s “Phoenix” at the Mancos Brewery, and will feature music by Billy the Kid.
