The Fort Lewis College Environmental Center will hold its 12th annual Sustainability Summit from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Student Union Ballroom at FLC, 1000 Rim Drive.
The event is free and open to all.
This year, the summit will spotlight the La Plata County Food System, a comprehensive initiative facilitated by the Good Food Collective, to develop a five-year road map of where the residents, organizations, businesses and governments of La Plata County can focus their respective efforts to build a more resilient food system in the county.
More than 25 community organizations will be present, sharing job, internship, volunteer and advocacy opportunities. English to Spanish interpreting will be available.
