Southwest Ag displays new equipment at annual show

While eight-wheeled Argos are known for their ability to cross rivers and wetlands, they can be converted into a snow vehicle for high-altitude cruising and hauling.
The Four States Ag Expo hosted its 36th annual event March 15-17 at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds in Cortez. Seminars, ag producers, vendors and others are part of the annual show.
The expo is a good way to bring goods and services to a large audience, said Rich Hillyer of Southwest Ag. New products this year include eight-wheeled Argos, which can be converted into a snow vehicle, and Argo also has a line of utility vehicles. SWAG also sells utility vehicles from Kubota.
A hands-free log cutter and splitter from Halverson, which attaches to a Kubota skidsteer, was a popular demonstration at the Southwest Ag display area.
