The West Slope Westies will host the 4 Corners West Coast Swing Weekend, Sept. 30 to Oct. 2. This year, the event brings professional, internationally ranked dancers Maxime and Tori Zzaoui from France.
The weekend of workshops, dances and more will be held at the American Legion, 878 East Second Ave.
Not to be confused with Western or Country Swing, West Coast Swing is a modern, creative partner dance with a characteristic elastic, springy look. Having evolved in California, this versatile dance goes with a wide variety of musical genres spanning blues, hip-hop, pop and more.
