Four Corners Office for Resource Efficiency will hold its Beyond Solar Tour + Gathering from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 21.
The tour is open to the public at no cost. Discover Durango homes and businesses that are powered by solar and net-zero technologies. A highlight of the tour is the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, which features the area’s largest single-site solar array, outside of solar gardens.
The day concludes with the Beyond Solar Gathering from 4 to 7 p.m. at Manna, the Durango Soup Kitchen, 1100 Avenida del Sol. Tickets are $25 and include food, drinks, live music by Pete Giuliani and community connection.
This year’s events coincide with Sun Day 2025, a national celebration of clean energy.
Proceeds benefit 4CORE and Project SunShare, making rooftop solar affordable for income-qualified families.
