Mercy Regional Medical Center delivered five babies – whose birthdays will evermore be recorded on forms as “12/13/14.”
Mercy spokesman David Bruzzese did not respond to questions about the time of the babies’ births.
But there’s a one in 288 chance that one of the babies was born at 3:16 p.m., meaning their birthday would be 12/13/14 15:16 on the 24-hour clock.
In terms of month/day/year, no babies will have ascending birthdays until 8/9/2110 – meaning the babies born on 12/13/14 have bragging rights for another 96 years.
