The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Club will hold its 71st annual Gem and Mineral Show, July 11 to July 13 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds and Events Center, 2500 Main Ave.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 11 and 12, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 13.
There will be more than 60 local and international dealers showcasing raw, slices and specimen minerals; fossils; crystals and metaphysical wares; gems; jewelry; geodes; beads and various rock-focused artisan products.
Kids activities, “gold” panning and geode cutting will also be featured, as well as a silent auction with hundreds of items up for bid, hourly and daily. Choice items will be available for bidding during the entire show. On-site food trucks will offer meals, snacks, drinks and desserts.
Admission is $12 for all three days or $5 per day for visitors over 12 years of age and $4 per day for 65 and up. Volunteers get free admission for the entire weekend.
