The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Club is proud to announce the 72nd annual Gem and Mineral Show, which will be held July 10 to 12 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds and Events Center, 2500 Main Ave. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 10 and July 11 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 12. Admission is $5 per day for visitors 12 and over. Volunteers get free admission.
There will be more than 60 local and international dealers showcasing raw, slices and specimen minerals, fossils, crystals and metaphysical wares, gems, jewelry, geodes, beads and various rock-focused artisan products. There will also be children’s activities, “gold” panning and junior geology kits.
A silent auction with hundreds of items up for bid, hourly and daily. Choice items will be available for bidding during the entire show. On site food trucks will offer meals, snacks, drinks and desserts.
