9-R spokeswoman is now Cruella de Vil?

In reading the story about teacher Robyn Baxendale raising money to pay off kids school lunch debt at Miller Middle School (“

I was astounded by the tin-ear response from Julie Popp, Durango School District 9-R spokeswoman. She criticized Robyn Baxendale’s effort by stating “negatively casted, nondistrict-sponsored fundraisers are not necessary.”

Seriously? This is how the district spokeswoman responds to a kind act by a truly caring teacher?

I’m thinking District 9-R doesn’t need a negatively casted spokeswoman any longer. She should be cast out.
