Easton LaChappelle, a Mancos High School, placed second in a national science competition and was featured on the Nickelodeon TV show titled, “Figure It Out” in 2012. Durango Big Picture High School students will be featured on Nick News Tuesday at 6 p.m.
It’s not quite slime, but it will do.
Students from Durango School District 9-R’s Big Picture High School will have their 15 minutes of fame next week on the popular children’s network, Nickelodeon.
High school students involved in internships will appear on Nick News, a Nickelodeon news segment geared toward children that reports on topical issues, Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The first episode of Nick News aired April 18, 1992.
