Richard Carpenter of UltraSteam Cleaning takes the “Ice Bucket Challenge” as Caesar Sanchez of UltraSteam empties a bucket of ice water on Carpenter on Monday to help raise money for the ALS Association. Known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The association’s Ice Bucket Challenge has been a social media phenomenon.
