We are a 5th grade exhibition group and we are going to tell you how to control invasive species in your gardens and yards. If you have Russian olive trees in your back yard, you can do two things. First, if it is a sapling you can dig it up. Second, you can cut it down if it is too big to dig up. Also don’t ship wood from one place to another because ash-borer bugs could possibly be in the wood and they can kill a lot of trees if they’re not controlled. If you are an angler and you catch a northern pike, please don’t release it unless you have to because if you do, it will destroy entire lakes.
