There is an older gentleman who walks his small, fluffy black-and-white dog down Florida Road daily.

Florida Road is part of my morning commute to work and has been for several years. Regardless of the morning I am having – dreading the day ahead, running late, annoyed with a fellow commuter – seeing him and that tiny dog always puts a huge smile on my face. His presence causes me to pause and remember the joy of the little things, like the sweetness of an older man walking an adorable little dog.

I am glad you and your four-legged companion are a part of my community. Although we have never met, you make me happy and make my life better.
