A glorious finish

Boden Philippon, a fifth-grader at Riverview Elementary School, takes down Old Glory with care at the end of school Wednesday. All Durango-area residents will have a chance to display their patriotism Monday during a Veterans Day parade along Main Avenue. The annual event, organized by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4031, begins at 11 a.m. at College Drive and Main Avenue.
