Want to make your own ice cream at home but can’t stand the distracting noise of the machine itself?
Do as Forest Service employee and ice cream-maker extraordinaire Scott Justham does, and put it in another room. The spare bedroom works for him, but the laundry room or study will do just as well.
He mixes up a batch of his favorite flavor before the dinner guests come, pours it into the freezer bowl and starts the electric ice cream machine as they arrive, and voila – 30 to 40 minutes later, dessert is served.
Can’t beat that for easy summertime entertaining.
