Harvest festivals are about to get a heavy metal twist this weekend in Durango.
On Saturday night, The Garage Billiards & Music Hall (formerly Pongas) will host A Harvest Night of Metal, featuring both local and out-of-town black and death metal bands, including Durango’s Vile Aesthetic and Denver bands Saeva, Darconigan and Malum Mortuus.
Doors for the show will open at 8 p.m., with the bands starting at around 8:30. This free show is for those 21 and older.
And the cool thing about this show is that the community is getting involved. Sponsors for A Harvest Night of Metal include Jimmy’s Music & Supply, Durango Dawg House, Necro Productions, Warlike Productions and Darko Print Shop.
