Searching through back issues of the Herald is not easy. I was looking for the paper’s coverage from 1/20/21 through 12/31/24 of what I consider the Biden/Harris open-borders policy, and I suspect that little, if any, coverage exists.
Depending on the source, anywhere from 10 million to 13 million undocumented immigrants entered this country with minimal vetting. Nobody knows how many “got-aways” there were during this period.
I want to know why the Herald covered little to nothing about this inflow during the Biden/Harris administration. By the same token, the Herald’s coverage over the past 10 months of deportations and ICE actions has been framed in a negative light.
Readers deserve an explanation for why the paper reported so little on border issues for four years, yet now appears to support an anti-deportation narrative under the current administration.
