Can we now accept the fact that our populace has elected pure, unmitigated evil? Not conservative, not pro-American, not spiritual, not religious, not Christian, not kind, caring or nice.
There is a deep-seated hate in this person that the best minds in our country cannot explain. We have been co-opted by a master snake oil, watch, real estate, college, steak, wine and Bible huckstering salesperson – so gifted with a made-for-TV persona that has hypnotized far too many Americans.
The emotional and financial damage this man has created will last longer than we all care to believe. The economic grift, coupled with the pain inflicted on sexual assault victims and their extended families, will cause all of us to suffer for generations.
One drop of this evil poison has destabilized and polluted our planet in ways we cannot imagine today.
Social and political interactions have a way of creating a balance based on the universal human need for logic and order. We Americans have created and allowed, through our ignorance and greed, someone so harmful and foreign to our best interests not only to flourish, but to lead us toward ruin.
Will time clean this up so we can heal? Today, no one can predict what the future holds.
