The next AARP Smart Driver Course in Durango will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 10 at the Durango/La Plata Senior Center, 2424 Main Ave.
The Smart Driver Course is geared to people over 55 to update their driving skills and review driving challenges. The course could save participants money on their car insurance. This is a classroom setting.
The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers.
