The American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado and the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty will host an informal dinner and discussion on homelessness in Durango from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Keynote speaker Tristia Bauman, senior attorney at the NLCHP, will outline broad efforts to prevent and end homelessness.
Participants can share their opinion by joining one of five tables on hunger, criminalizing homelessness, mental health and addiction, housing, and community.
