Adaptive Sports makes all feel welcome

I have had the honor of driving the Adaptive Sports’ bus up to Purgatory on Saturdays for a few years.

The bus is filled with my dear friends who look forward to a great day of skiing with Adaptive Sports’ spectacular volunteers. I open the doors of “Thelma,” our cool bus, and my friends pour out and almost run to the Adaptive Sports hut, where each and every one is greeted with big smiles and love from the volunteer ski instructors who are anxiously waiting to get their students ready for the slope.

Adaptive Sports works with abilities, not disabilities, and makes sure that everyone is safe and has fun. Whether you are born with a disability, are an injured veteran or have injuries caused by accidents, everyone is welcome.

I just want to say hooray to each and every one at Adaptive Sports.
