Even though I think the idea of “the obscene wall” is based on hatred, racism and ignorance, I applaud Sally Florence’s suggestion (Herald, 2/19) to try to make it something positive with art.

I would also like to recommend that the wall have solar panels and be topped with windmills to provide energy to border states and Indian reservations. Perhaps even Mexico would be willing to help if “the obscene wall” provided energy to its people.
