The Durango and Cortez Adult Education Centers will hold a winter GED/HSE graduation ceremony from 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
The commencement speaker will be Hannah Wacasey, a 2016 GED graduate. Graduates, their family, friends and the public are invited to attend.
The mission of the education center is to fill educational gaps by providing the skills and knowledge necessary for livable wage careers, post-secondary education and social and economic mobility.
