After election, chill and look to the future

It’s incredible the amount of fortune tellers in here, painting the doom and gloom of our future with Donald Trump.

When Barack Obama got elected, the response was if we disagreed we would be labeled racist hate mongers. Oh, we were worried, but it had absolutely nothing to do with race. We just questioned his experience, which was pretty much nonexistent.

But conservatives weren’t rioting in the streets or crying; we just accepted our loss and looked to the future. We didn’t protest and state flat out that we didn’t support him and refuse to work with him.

So Trump got elected, so what? People were sick and tired of politics as normal. When even our party elites didn’t support him, it was a sign that a lot of people were tired of the usual politics and the corruption therein. The fact that Hillary Clinton supporters took to the streets and damaged parts of their own cities with their rioting, proves that the state of the nation has gone through a drastic change.

When college students need safe zones and skip midterm exams because they didn’t get the results they wanted in the election, it shows that we have a generation of people about to enter the work force that are not prepared for life in the real world.

So sit in your safe zone, wherever that may be, and chill. See what might happen in our future and not fight it stubbornly.

You might be surprised.
