Animas High School students from both Sara Price’s humanities and Steve Smith’s chemistry classes will host a joint exhibition of learning from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Powerhouse Science Center, 1333 Camino del Rio.
Juniors in Price’s humanities classes will share podcasts they created about the complex labor issues we face in the United States today.
Juniors will apply their understanding of chemistry to materials science, trash and recycling. Their projects will take a variety of forms, from conducting authentic scientific research to taking significant personal action to reduce their waste stream.
