The Animas High School class of 2018 will hold an exhibition, “The Growing Divide: Class Consciousness in our Community,” from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Students examined class systems; the experiences that shape attitudes, values and actions of different classes; and the interplay between individual choices and structural factors that create the class system in the United States.
The evening will feature interactive experiences, artwork, dialogue and community resources.
