Animas High School ninth-grade students in humanities classes taught by Sara Price will hold “The Masks We Wear,” an interactive exhibition of student socialization and identity projects, from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the school, 271 Twin Buttes Ave.
Students will showcase what they learned from their studies of the cycle of socialization and the book Mexican WhiteBoy by Matt de la Peña, and offer community members the opportunity to walk through their identity formations to explore aspects of gender, age, race, class and ethnicity.
The event is free and open to all.
