Ally Johnson’s 10th-grade humanities classes at Animas High School will hold a mock trial from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the La Plata County Courthouse, 1060 East Second Ave.
As the final exhibition of the “Imperialism on Trial” project, students will put the British colonial government on trial to determine whether it was responsible for the death of the protagonist featured in Chinua Achebe’s novel Things Fall Apart.
The exhibition is open to the public.
