Airport terminal lacks entertainment

It is clear to me that the Durango-La Plata County Airport is in need of a new terminal. Many letters have been written on this particular issue, but they have left out many key points on why it is necessary to have a new terminal. Our airport consists of five rental car agencies, a deli and a gift shop. There are not a lot of options for people to choose from and not a lot of entertainment.

In several reviews of the airport, people have said that the airport doesn’t have much to offer, and it is a bore if you have a long delay. If a new terminal was added, it would improve these problems. Also, tourism is a major economic boost for many business owners in the area. In May 2014, 15,979 people used the Durango-La Plata County Airport. Out of these people, 75.8 percent were tourists. If we were to get a new terminal, then it might attract more tourists and bring more business to the area. It is necessary for the airport to get a new terminal.
