The lack of varsity-level high school football referees caused yet another time change.
The Alamosa at Bayfield game has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday, as crews will have to work two games Saturday with Durango and Ignacio also hosting 1 p.m. matchups.
A crew from Alamosa was originally scheduled to cover the game, but the plan fell through Friday morning.
Games have been played on Saturdays late this season because of scheduling conflicts with referees across the region.
To sign up to be an official and help the boys get back to playing on Friday nights next season, contact your school’s athletic director for information.
