The community of Ignacio will celebrate its 118th annual San Ignacio Fiesta on July 28.
The celebration will kick off with its 73rd annual San Ignacio Fiesta Parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Registration and line up is at Ignacio High School.
After the parade please join us at Town Park on Shoshone Street for live music by "It's Jose," as well as our 23rd annual Horseshoe Tournament, food vendors, games, contests and fun for the whole family. Other community events will take place centrally located by the park, so please take part in all events.
The annual San Ignacio Fiesta Dance will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, from with live music by "Joker's Wild" and "Royal Brown" at the Sky Ute Casino. Crowning of the Fiesta Queen and Fiesta King will be at 10 p.m.
This year's queen candidates are D'Vondra Garcia, Grace Gonzales and Yllana Howe, and king candidates are Jace Carmeneros and Michael Merritt.
The annual raffle will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday after Mass and dinner.
